Improving the emotional health and wellbeing of children and young people is a key priority for Nottinghamshire County Council’s Public Health team and for the Nottinghamshire CCGs, in line with the national Future in Mind strategy. We now offer a fixed-term opportunity to work on the development and performance management of services to improve the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.

The role will cover aspects of managing commissioned services, alongside partnership work to improve health and wellbeing and tackle health inequalities. We are looking for someone with a particular interest in the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.

You will have experience of Public Health or related work, along with a relevant degree or equivalent demonstrable experience, an understanding of commissioning techniques, and the ability to work in partnership to achieve shared objectives.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Lucy Peel, CYP Mental Health and Wellbeing Programme Lead, telephone 0115 9773139

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
