Trowell C of E Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to cover a maternity leave in Year 2. Our last inspection by Ofsted judged us to be a ‘good’ school. This post is suitable for an experienced teacher or an NQT. Previous experience of teaching Year 2 is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will need to:

• Have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour and firmly believe that every child can achieve

• Provide a stimulating, safe and happy learning environment

• Be reflective about their teaching

• Have excellent interpersonal skills, a good sense of humour and enjoy being part of a friendly and supportive team

• Be enthusiastic, caring and hard working

• Be supportive of our Christian ethos

• Be willing to make a wider contribution to the life of the school
