£7.97 - £8.55 ( A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £8.45 per hour, the maximum rate of pay is £8.55 per hour).

Nottinghamshire County Councils Building Cleaning Service requires a Cleaning Supervisor, to lead a team of cleaning staff over 2 schools, at East Leake Academy & Lantern Lane Primary School. Both schools are located on the same site. The main duties will be to supervise staff, through delegation of works, ensure all appropriate paperwork is completed, in relation to time sheets, holiday requests, sickness etc. ordering of stock and to undertake cleaning of a designated area.

The post holder will be responsible to the Building Cleaning management team but will also be expected to liaise closely with key School contacts to ensure the needs of the building and its users are met. The working hours are from 3.30p.m until 6.30p.m Monday to Friday. Additional hours regularly available to cover sickness. Previous supervisory and cleaning experience is desired but not essential. Benefits include 24 days annual leave, rising to 29 after 5 year’s service plus bank holidays, with a smart uniform and all necessary PPE and training provided.
