At John T Rice Infant and Nursery School we provide a caring, safe and secure environment where children are able to develop and gain the skills to become happy, healthy and independent individuals ready to take their place in the world. Based in Forest Town, we feel that being an Infants and Nursery School is very special as we are able to focus on children’s learning at the start of their school journey. Staff are committed to both the children and the School, and work together as a team towards achieving the school vision that we can “Aim high and shine”. Our current Headteacher is relocating for a promotion at Easter so we are seeking to appoint a successor to start at the beginning of the Summer Term 2018.

We are looking for an enthusiastic leader who:

  • Is committed to a culture of continuous improvement of standards that promotes excellence for staff and pupils alike

  • Is able to support positive relationships with pupils, parents, governors and the wider community
