The Nottingham Girls Academy are looking for an outstanding Learning Mentor to join their team with a focus on SEND.
You will support Teachers to ensure that pupils engage more effectively with their learning and help increase levels of achievement through appropriate provision.. This is a great opportunity to combine mentoring skills whilst working in a supportive environment.

As a Learning Mentor you will;
• have level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning
• experience in working with children with ASD
• experience of running an intervention
• experience of working with children with social, emotional or behavioural barriers to learning
• be able to demonstrate a range of behaviour management strategies
• be well organised and have high expectations of achievement and behaviour
• have the ability to engage constructively with and relate to a wide range of young people from different backgrounds
• possess excellent communication skills, at all levels.
