Teaching Assistant Grade 2
The Head teacher and Governing Body are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified teaching assistant to support pupils in a mixed Year 1 & 2 class to work as part of a supportive team, encouraging and helping our children to achieve their full potential.
The role being offered is for a Grade 2 Classroom Assistant to work 6 hours per day, term time only between 9.00am to 3.30pm. The role will be temporary until July 31st 2022, with a view to being made permanent.
Our new Classroom Assistant will:
• Support in 1:1 and in small groups of a mixed Year 1 and 2 class.
• Support 5 days a week from 9.00am to 3.30pm.
• Have an empathetic, nurturing manner.
• Have high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
• Build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
• Be well organised.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Fully participate in school life.
• Demonstrate an ability to support pupils with additional needs.
