The governors of this happy, successful and growing school are seeking to appoint an effective leader, who has the passion, drive and vision to work with the governing body and whole community to take this thriving school forward to the next stage of its development.

We were rated GOOD overall by OFSTED in 2012; we believe we have the potential and desire, within our friendly and dedicated team, to be lead to outstanding. We are therefore seeking a highly motivated and inspiring leader with a clear vision to continue to move our school forward and drive any necessary improvements.

As our new headteacher, you will:

  • build on existing strengths and lead the school to further improve the quality of our provision
  • be dynamic, determined, approachable, visionary and have high personal expectations
  • be an inspirational practitioner, leader, team manager and team player
  • have high expectations of achievement and behaviour
  • be able to motivate and inspire governors, staff and pupils
  • have the ability to develop strong relationships with all those connected with the school, as well as identifying potential new stakeholders.
  • have the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with members of our school community
