Are you the person to join the OT Intake Team as our Hub worker? The Intake team are responsible for completing Occupational Therapy assessments over the telephone or in OT clinics.

The Hub worker is integral to our success. 

You will respond to requests for support in a 3 tier way.  Maintaining independence and safety for people struggling to manage at home by providing information, referring on, and booking in assessments. You will also support the Intake Team CCOs, by completing tasks that are more administrative in nature, enabling them to concentrate on assessing, thereby completing more work in a proportionate and timely manner.

You must be highly organised, good IT skills, a natural problem solver, have a great telephone manner, and be an excellent communicator and team player.

You would be part of the Adult Access Service which is at the forefront of Adult Social Care Health and our role is significant in resolving inquiries for the people of Nottinghamshire in relation to Social Care, OT, Benefits and Carers. You will be working with Advanced Social Work Practitioners, Occupational Therapist Senior Practitioners, Social Workers, Community Care Officers and Services Advisors. We work closely with a variety of colleagues: the MASH team in the same building, Customer Service Centre staff based at Mercury House, ASCH colleagues in district, hospitals and specialist teams, health staff and the voluntary sector.
