The Governors of King Edward Primary School and Nursery wish to appoint an Apprentice Teaching Assistant who will also help to support our PE lead. This is a fixed term appointment, initially for 18 months 32.50 hours per week. This includes college / study time.   

You will be expected to provide our class teacher with support to enhance pupils learning either in groups or individually ensuring that pupils understand the work that has been set and their learning objectives. Along with this you will support our PE Lead with the delivery of PE and sports activities in school. Time will be provided to allow you to complete a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

• Can demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Is committed to securing positive outcomes for our children
• Holds 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above / grade 4/5 (new scoring system).
