Woodland Creation Project Manager
Are you an experienced forester? Could you help us to meet the challenge of creating at least 250ha of new, multi-purpose woodland in Nottinghamshire, home of the legendary Sherwood Forest?
As the most senior forestry specialist for the Authority, this post offers an exciting opportunity to work with Greenwood Community Forest and partners and to lead the delivery of the England’s Community Forests’ Trees for Climate programme in Nottinghamshire. Your practical forestry experience will enable you to develop and deliver high quality planting schemes, working in partnership with other local authorities, conservation organisations and land owners, and bringing benefits for both people and wildlife.
Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
