The Headteacher and Governing Body of The Primary School of St Mary & St Martin wish to appoint a temporary Part-time Deputy Headteacher to teach in our EYFS Class as a job-share arrangement with our current experienced post-holder.

We are a forward-looking village school with supportive governors and parents, and enthusiastic children who are keen to grow as learners. We are committed to nurturing the whole-child and seek a colleague who wants to make a positive difference to the children in our school. We would like the successful candidate to become fully involved with school life.

We are looking for a creative and dedicated classroom teacher and senior leader, who can provide imaginative learning opportunities and work within the SLT to help the school continue to improve and grow.

Being able to be flexible and work collaboratively as part of a team, while also using their own initiative, is an essential quality.

TEACHING COMMITMENT - EYFS CLASS TEACHER in a mixed FS1/FS2 setting with two experienced EYFS practitioners. Experience in a mixed EYFS setting is essential.

SHARED RESPONSIBILITIES - Experience of the SENCo role is essential; SENCo Award is desireable. INCLUSION LEAD: SLT Responsibility for Behaviour / Anti-bullying / Pupil Premium

SUBJECT LEADERSHIP - HEALTH & WELL-BEING LEAD: PE / PSHE / RSE

OTHER: DESIGNATED SAFE-GUARDING LEAD

It is essential that the candidate has up-to-date DSL training

Opportunities to spend time in school before the end of this term would be arranged to ensure an excellent induction and transition.
