The Headteacher and Governing Body of Sutton Bonington Primary School are seeking to appoint a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to support learning in a Key Stage 2 class. The position is temporary from January to July 2016, to cover for maternity leave. Applications from those currently undergoing training towards the above qualification will also be considered. The successful applicant will have good literacy and numeracy skills, effective behaviour management strategies and a commitment to helping all of our children be happy and successful within a fully inclusive learning environment. As well as being a cooperative team member, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate initiative in their approach. A good understanding of how to support learning in literacy and numeracy, in line with the new National Curriculum, is expected.
