The Governors at Orchard Primary School are looking to appoint an efficient and friendly Office Administrator to join the dedicated staff in our school.  You will provide a supportive, competent and enthusiastic administrator to the school.  You will be joining a team who are exceptional and extremely supportive. 

The office staff work together to ensure the smooth running of the school on a daily basis and provide a welcoming, warm and friendly reception service to our parents, visitors, children and staff. The successfully candidate will be well organized, extremely confidential and work under pressure as well as being able to use their own initiative. The role will have an impact on the future of our children as we put them at the heart of the decisions we make and the services we provide.

We are looking for someone who:

•    Who will impact of the lives of our children
•    Is enthusiastic, well-motivated and willing to develop the role
•    Can working effectively and efficiently with and without direction
•    Will work with the utmost professionalism and integrity
•    Someone who will remain calm and cheerful in a busy office environment
•    Excellent administrative skills, IT and communication skills
•    Experience of SIMs would be an advantage but not essential
•    An all round team player
•    Who can work under pressure

Your duties will include:

•    Establishing and maintain excellent relationships with pupils, parents/carers, staff, stakeholders and other professionals.
•    Monitoring and implementing attendance procedures to include first day response for absence and holiday requests
•    Facilitating and processing of school trips, to include letters, making bookings and collation of monies received
•    Ensuring dinners monies are correct and reported to the kitchen
•    To report from financial systems and data management
•    To send/receive communications regarding pupil welfare
•    Ensure that all pupil data on SIMs is accurate and current

Applicants should possess GCSEs in English and Maths and have minimum of two years’ office experience.
