The Nottingham Academy is currently recruiting for a Science Technician to join their team to support the science and technology departments.

About us:

Duties will include the preparation and maintenance of equipment and materials required for demonstrations and practical experiments. You will also be responsible for administering stock control, ordering procedures and assisting students and staff in the classroom, ensuring that health and safety regulations are met. You must be able to prepare and support lessons from KS3 through to KS5.

With a background in science or technology, you will have high professional standards and a methodical and organised approach. Knowledge of current health and safety legislation and the possession of related certificates/qualifications would be an advantage. Experience in either science or technology would also be advantageous however full training and support will be given.
