Do you want to lead and manage change across a large Adult Social Care Department? You would be part of the leadership team responsible for delivering and managing a large programme of transformation to support sustainable change and help build a service fit for the future. Nottinghamshire Adult Social Care has a dedicated Transformation Team that has supported change across the department over the last few years.  We have ambitious plans for further future transformation based on key social care principles that recognises the important role each and every member of the social care workforce plays in being able to build a service that meets increasing demand and need at a time of financial pressure.

The future transformation programme will:

  • Focus on using data to embed a continuous improvement cycle and drive good decision making at all levels of the department.
  • Agree and track key desired activities that speak to our social care principles, that when applied will reduce the financial pressures across the department
  • Work to embed changes in practice that are aligned with our Adult Social Care Strategy.
  • Implement significant service redesign that will lead to more effective and efficient services able to deliver good outcomes for individuals as well as value for money for the organisation.

You can read about this in the Supporting Adults in Nottinghamshire strategy document.

You will be able to engage with stakeholders, have excellent communications skills, be analytical and able to use data to drive decision making, have high levels of personal resilience, enthusiasm to make change happen and preferably an understanding of the issues affecting adult social care. The post is for 6 months initially.
