The Governors of Netherfield Primary School are looking to appoint a Part Time (32.5 hours per week) Learning Mentor to our great team. The successful candidate will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, to: 

  • Support access to learning for pupils
  • Provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. 

Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area, alongside a teacher/senior member of staff.In the first instance, the post holder will be deployed supporting children with SEND. 

The successful candidate will need to have good literacy and numeracy skills gained from general education to GCSE ‘O’ level/NVQ level 2 standard or equivalent or prior relevant experience or skills.
