Yeoman Park is an outstanding school for pupils with severe (SLD), profound (PMLD) and complex (ASD) learning difficulties school aged 3-19. The school provides a stimulating, challenging and safe learning environment where individuals are valued and nurtured. The school will be converting to an Academy on 1st August and joining the Diverse Academies Learning Partnership (DALP).
We are looking to appoint an outstanding, creative and committed teacher to facilitate and deliver a relevant and meaningful curriculum, based on the principles of Development Matters to a group of Key stage 1 & 2 pupils with SLD and ASD.
Qualified teacher status and some experience of working in early years settings is essential.
The post holder will be expected to work with colleagues to continue the development of the primary curriculum and support new and exciting initiatives. Some knowledge and understanding of outdoor learning (including Forest Schools) would be an advantage.
This post would suit someone looking to develop their skills in teaching SEND.
