Due to retirement, we have an exciting opportunity for a calm, caring and flexible person to run our busy reception and school office. The governors are looking to appoint the successful applicant from September 2017.

The successful applicant will need to be familiar with working in an office environment, or reception, and all that it entails. This position will include general reception duties, day-to-day housekeeping of our school databases, text messaging service, control of our school uniform stock and sales and all aspects of general clerical work. You must be able to prioritise your time effectively.

You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to develop positive working relationships and be prepared to contribute to the wider life of the school. You will be working with children, parents, governors and staff. The ability to work under pressure is essential and you will be supporting the head teacher as we move towards becoming an academy. You will need a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and using databases, but training will be given in all aspects of the role.
