Depending on experience: L4 points 8 to 14 Support Staff pay grades

To begin April 1st 2021 preferred. 

Four of the schools within the Mansfield Area Collaboration are seeking to appoint a Behaviour Support Leader to work across the schools for 1 year initially. This is a new role within the collaboration and is one which will develop over time.

You should:

  • Be passionate about making a difference to the lives of children, especially those who present with challenging behaviours
  • Be able to build positive relationships with children who have some complex behavioural needs
  • Have excellent knowledge of behaviour management strategies and be able to apply them effectively
  • Be able to work with and support colleagues with behaviour management to get the very best out of all children
  • Be able to plan and deliver behaviour interventions to children across the four schools
  • Be able to measure the impact of the interventions on the behaviour of the pupils
  • Have excellent knowledge of SEND and the impact on pupil behaviour
  • Be flexible in approach to work and adapt to the needs of individual schools
  • Be able to deliver therapeutic approaches such as play therapy and art therapy within the school
