Training Salary: £18,562 per annum (plus 6% pension contribution) - rising to £23,080 on completion of training or proven experience

Citizens Advice Sherwood & Newark is a busy district wide advice service based over 2 offices in Newark & Ollerton, We are seeking either a trained money adviser or a trainee candidate who can demonstrate they have the capacity and drive to undertake comprehensive learning in order to provide debt support, money advice and financial capability. It is an exciting role helping people, often those at greatest risk of vulnerability, to identify debt solutions. Ideally, you will have a background working with clients in a financial setting; and be willing to work towards becoming a qualified Debt Relief Order Intermediary. What's really important is your ability to absorb information and put into practice what you've learned. You will be a stickler for detail, accuracy and efficiency. You will have a high standard of written English and enjoy working as part of a team. A good attitude to hard work, enjoying learning and being able to take constructive feedback are a must. There will be targets to meet and caseloads to manage.
You could be located in either office and travel will be expected between offices to provide cover alongside delivering a home visiting option for clients as required.
