The post will require the candidate to work primarily with a pupil requiring additional needs in the Early Years/Key Stage 1 phase with responsibilities including; personal care, targeted support, intervention and in class support.

• Has the ability to support children to further accelerate their progress through high quality targeted support and intervention
• Is able to implement learning activities devised by the Class Teacher
• Can adapt the planning/session where required for the individual child
• Is able to prepare resources and learning materials to enhance the support further
• Can use their own initiative
• Provide care for children with health needs
• Has relevant experience suitable for the post
• Possess NVQ level 3 or above
