The Catering and Facilities Management Service in conjunction with the Schools Governing Body are seeking to employ a full time Site Manager to join our existing team of enthusiastic and loyal staff at Priestsic Primary and Nursery School with immediate effect.

You will be required to clean and maintain the fabric of the school to a high standard and offer a dedicated range of Site Managerial Services for the betterment of the children, parents and staff. The role requires working a split shift; between the hours of 7am – 11am and 3pm – 6pm.Priestsic Primary and Nursery School is a good school situated in the heart of Sutton in Ashfield catering for approximately 480 children between the ages of 3 and 11.

As part of the role you will need to demonstrate a commitment to the whole school ethos, be an effective communicator, and be passionate about the school and its children, staff and parents. All members of staff are expected to be positive role models for the children.The successful applicant will need to be smart in appearance, wearing a provided uniform and will be able to prioritise and organise his/her workload.

The role of Site Manager is very demanding and the successful applicant will be expected to deliver the full range of site management, maintenance, janitorial and cleaning duties. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a hardworking, skilled and flexible approach, with the utmost conviction in maintaining the highest standards of safety and security.The school has a team of 4 cleaners and a handyperson which the successful applicant will be expected to manage and lead.

You will be required to act as the main key holder for the school and attend alarm activations as required, for which additional payments will be made.

Previous experience of this type of work would be an advantage, although not essential. We are looking for someone with high levels of interest and commitment with appropriate skills.
