We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Support Assistant to work with the newly established Notts Enabling Service based at Sherwood Energy Village.

This is an emerging service and there will be a need to contribute to the developing processes and support the daily functions of the team.

It is vital to demonstrate you can work on your own initiative and independently with minimal supervision using your own resourcefulness.

You need to be competent in the use of spreadsheets and databases and be able to record and analyse data to provide management information and compile statistics.

Knowledge of the following would be particularly useful:

  • A good working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Be able to input and manipulate information on databases and spreadsheets
  • An awareness of Data Protection issues and information management
  • Experience of working in a confidential environment.

The following personal qualities and skills are also required:

  • Possessing good organisational skills
  • A strong commitment to task and self-motivation
  • The flexibility to work under own initiative
  • To have the ability to plan and co-ordinate own work
  • The ability to monitor and maintain a healthy, safe and secure workplace
