The Governors of King Edward Primary School and Nursery wish to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly skilled School Business Manager to lead our many dedicated staff employed in administrative, site management and other support functions.  This post is central to the smooth running of the school.  We are a very large primary school situated close to Mansfield town centre with 457 pupils on roll currently, with capacity to grow to 700 over the next few years.

The successful candidate should:

  • have strong ICT skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • have an understanding of Employment Law, Health and Safety, Financial Knowledge
  • have experience of building and maintaining good relationships with a range of people involved in the life of our school
  • have excellent communication skills
  • have ability to effectively plan, prioritise and deliver to a high standard
  • have experience in a Business Management role although not necessarily in a school
