£7.97 - £8.55 ( A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £8.45 per hour, the maximum rate of pay is £8.55 per hour).

The Catering & Facilities Management Service in conjunction with the schools Governing Body are seeking to employ a permanent Caretaker at North Wheatley Primary School, which is situated in the heart of the Village. As the post demands you will be required to be the main key holder of the site and look after both the cleanliness and janitorial aspects of the building, ensuring that the site is cleaned to a high level of cleanliness. It is essential that You has a keen eye for detail as we will expect a high level of presentation of both the interior and exterior parts of the building, including basic maintenance of both the interior and exterior of the building. You will also be responsible for the weekly flushing of water outlets in line with legionella regulations.

You will be required to work between the hours 6.30am – 8.30am and 4pm - 6pm Monday to Friday and You will be responsible for the total cleanliness of the site. You will be required to undergo the DBS process which will be at an enhanced level. Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. This post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative and you will be expected to program your daily routine to meet the needs of the site.
