NJE Grade 3 (Point 14-18) £16,781 - £18,070 pa FTE

Required to start January 2018, 14 hours per week.  The Governors at Albany Infant & Nursery School are looking to appoint an efficient and friendly person to join the dedicated staff in our school.    

Our office team works together to ensure the smooth running of the school on a daily basis, and provides a welcoming and efficient reception service to our parents, visitors, children and staff. You will be well organised, respect confidentiality and work under pressure as well as being able to use their own initiative, as and when required.

We would expect you to:

  • Offer a warm and friendly reception service
  • Ensure that all pupil data on SIMS is accurate and current
  • Process payments on the finance system Tucasi
  • Organise school trips, photographs, after school clubs, etc
  • Attend governing body committee meetings and take minutes (2 per term usually at a 5.30pm start)
  • Carry out general administrative duties


We are looking for someone who can remain calm and cheerful in a busy environment and is able to prioritise work to ensure that the needs of our pupils and wider school community are met. 

You will need excellent administrative, IT and communication skills and experience of SIMs would be an advantage. Applicants should possess GCSEs in English and Maths and have a minimum of two years’ office experience.
