We are a looking for an Operational Development Officer to support Nottinghamshire’s Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) Team to design and implement improved business processes in light of increased demand for assessments and upcoming legislative change.

Based within the DoLS Team in Sutton-in-Ashfield but willing to travel within Nottinghamshire to meet business needs, you will play a key role in bringing together front colleagues, business support and ICT staff to develop key operational business processes within DoLS. Your initial focus will be using the business requirements of the service to inform how new processes are designed, implemented and reviewed. You will help key stakeholders evaluate new processes to ensure they enable good quality, compliant assessments that can be completed in an efficient way

You will be be tenacious problem solver who focuses on achieving the best possible outcomes for our service users and stakeholders. You will also be highly competent in working with technology and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You must be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
