Based within Day Services South you will be required to develop support plans and deliver a wide range of activities and care to our customers within our combined day services.

You will be able to effectively consult with our customers, families, carers and other professional colleagues involved in provding quality care to each individual. You will be undertaking a supervisory role, directing, guiding and supporting other staff as required.

You will need to be flexible in working across all service user groups and work across the district as service needs predict. A Social Care qualification Equivalent to NVQ3 is a desirable requirement or you must be willing to work towards this qualification. You will have the ability to offer person centred, inclusive support, which develops and maintains independence. You must be able to work effectively, both as a team member and on your own initiative and put into practice the councils commitment to excellent customer care. You must be able to drive.
