Office Administration Assistant
The Governing Body are looking to appoint an experienced office administrative assistant to work with the School Business Manager. You will be a forward thinking, motivated individual and able to undertake a wide and varied range of clerical, administrative and financial tasks and offer support to the school and assist in the day to day demands of a busy school office.
Whilst experience of working in a school office environment is desirable, we also welcome applications from those with experience in other sectors whose skills would transfer well into this busy and varied field of administration.
• 27.5 hours per week, term time only 3 days 8.30am – 3.30pm & 2 days 8.30am – 12.30pm
We are looking for someone to join our hardworking and dedicated team who:
• Has proven administration experience in a school or similar setting

• Is able to prioritise effectively

• Works well as part of the team
• Is forward-thinking and wants to bring in new ideas
• Is able to work accurately to tight deadlines and use own initiative where appropriate.
• Has a good telephone manner and be able to communicate with all members of the school community, including governors, senior leaders, parents and pupils.
The postholder will be expected to use the Authority standard computer hardware and software packages where appropriate.
