This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is seeking to develop their career, we are looking for a highly motivated person to manage a new team that will be a frontline service comprising of Team leaders, Connect workers, Co-production, Community independence workers, and Promoting Independence workers. This will be a countywide service.

You will be skilled at managing and supporting staff, managing demands at a time of departmental change and increased focus on savings and efficiencies. You will assist in the future development of the new enabling team, manage frontline staff to reach service targets. Manage the day- to-day operations and contribute to the monitoring and performance measurement of the team. The post holder will be working closely with the voluntary and statutory organisations in the community seeking ways to make improvements to service delivery, and supporting the new team to reach savings and efficiencies targets.

The focus of the team will be to promote independence and wellbeing, to maximise a person’s independence, to prevent or reduce the need for care and support and any on-going support. Supporting people to remain in their own homes for as long as possible. To support field work teams by offering a range of alternatives to care with an emphasis on reducing personal budgets and empowering people to consider community based solutions.
