Launched in April 2016, Inspire is an innovative new cultural organisation launched by Nottinghamshire County Council. We are a Community Benefit Society that is dedicated to inspiring people to grow, learn and achieve with the help of our services. We believe passionately in encouraging growth and personal development, whether through a love of reading, music, the arts or education.  We are a lead partner for the BIG Lottery’s Building Better Opportunities Fund, D2N2 LEP, Towards Work Strand. This exciting programme aims to combat the root causes of poverty, promote social inclusion, challenge long-term unemployment and empower socially excluded people.  This project is jointly funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund.

BUILDING BETTER OPPORTUNITIES HUB ADMINISTRATOR

You will contribute to the overall success of the BBO Towards Work programme within Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.  Working within your Hub region, the successful candidate will work alongside the Hub Co-ordinator, providing Administrative support to the team, namely Co-ordinator, Job Broker and Work Coach.  The successful candidate will ensure that all performance data relating to the designated area is collected and collated.  

You will have:

  •  ICT literate to Advanced Level; including Office 365, MIS/Access Database navigation, word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  •  GCSE Grade C or above, or equivalent, in English and Maths or demonstrable experience of numeracy and literacy.
  •  Able to work well in a team.
  •  An ability to plan and prioritise work and to ensure that deadlines are met.
  •  An ability to work effectively in a busy environment, with regular interruptions and changing priorities.
  •  Ability to use specialist computer applications after training.
