The MASH (adults) Team provides an ideal opportunity to work in a unique environment working closely with partner agencies. It also offers an established and supportive culture where you will be able to further develop your expertise in safeguarding to advance your career. You will be joining the team at a time where different ways of working with revised processes are being implemented to improve timely responses and outcomes for those at risk of abuse and neglect.

We are looking for two Social Workers who can work as part of a multi-agency team in a fast-paced environment and can make timely decisions to respond to safeguarding concerns and customer demand. Alongside this, you will be able to contribute towards the changes taking place in the team and will have the opportunity to work with District Teams to raise awareness of Safeguarding and the work undertaken in the MASH.

You must be able to evidence the skills required to prioritise risk and effectively manage your own case load whilst identifying any issues or concerns that may impact on service delivery and escalate these appropriately.

In order to be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Professional Social Work qualification
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Excellent customer service and IT skills

In addition, you will need to have a thorough working knowledge of the Department’s current adult care strategies and demonstrate that you are up to date with the developments within Adult Social Care & Health & Safeguarding both locally and nationally.

Interviews to be undertaken remotely via Microsoft teams.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Team Manager Amanda Marsden on 01158042646 or email Amanda.marsden@nottscc.gov.uk.

Appointment to this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
