Are you ready for something new and exciting?

Are you wanting to make a real difference through your job?

Are you looking for a unique opportunity to be part of something really special?

Due to the retirement of the current post-holder, the Headteacher and Governors of Christ Church CoE Primary School are looking to appoint an experienced and outstanding Office Manager who is ready for a new challenge and is keen to make a real difference to our growing school family.

Since moving to our brand-new school building on the Middlebeck development in 2021, we have grown from less than 50 pupils to almost 150 pupils – and are destined to steadily keep growing as the Middlebeck community continues to be built over the next decade or so. We will eventually become a 2.5 form entry school with almost 600 pupils, including our own on-site nursery.

This is an amazing opportunity for a highly-skilled Office Manager to join our growing staff team!

Christ Church CoE Primary is a growing Primary and Nursery school with a unique history and strong sense of community. We have a friendly and supportive staff team who have been on an incredible journey together over the past few years and are now looking to the future with optimism. At the heart of our school ethos are the values of FAITH, HOPE & LOVE and we place compassion at the centre of everything we do.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly-motivated Office Manager who is ready to be at the core of something really special at Christ Church Primary School. We need someone with experience of working in schools, who can ensure our admin systems are effectively established and working efficiently as we continue to grow as a school family.

As School Office Manager, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, building upon the solid foundation established by the staff team in recent years. The successful candidate will become an integral part of helping Christ Church make the best use of our resources and facilities, enabling the headteacher and senior leaders to focus on ongoing school improvements and new initiatives.

We are looking for someone who will use their own initiative and be able to work independently, while still working as part of this very special staff team. We want someone who will shine in all that they do, and will help others flourish so that the school can excel.

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and experienced School Office Manager, who can utilise their skills to lead and manage the admin aspect of the school. They will have responsibilities for finance and resources, including the school budget, premises management, Health & Safety, Human Resources / personnel and administration. Please see the Job Description and Person Specification for further information.

We can offer:

•    A friendly and welcoming staff team who collaborate to make a real difference to our children and families.
•    A highly motivated and supportive senior leadership team, committed to ensuring that children and staff realise their full potential.
•    The opportunity to work in a beautiful brand-new school.
•    The chance to progress in your career and access to CPD and professional qualifications.
•    Ongoing support from Notts County Council, including Finance, HR, legal and H&S.
•    A structured induction, planned in collaboration with you.

To arrange an informal discussion regarding the role or to arrange a visit to the school please contact the headteacher, Mrs Alison Richardson, on 01636 680051.
