Temporary Teaching Assistant
Required as soon as possible
Hours: 27.5 hours per week (8.30am – 12.00 and 1.15pm – 3pm (Timings could need to be amended slightly depending on the pupil’s needs).
The post is temporary until the end of the summer term 2016, however there may be the potential for an increase in hours and/or the post becoming permanent after considering the future needs of the school.
The Head Teacher and Governing Body are seeking to appoint, as soon as possible, an outstanding practitioner to join our infant school team who:
- Has the ability to support children to further accelerate their progress through targeted support and intervention
- Is able to implement learning activities devised by the Class Teacher
- Can adapt the planning/session where required for the individual child
- Is able to prepare resources and learning materials to enhance the support further
- Can use their own initiative
- Committed to delivering high quality support and intervention
- Have relevant experience suitable for the post
- Possess NVQ level 3 or above and GCSE (or equivalent in Maths and English)
