Classroom Teacher

Fixed Term
Full Time
1 Year
John Clifford School, Nether Street, Beeston, Nottingham, NG9 2AT
MPR

We are looking to recruit a Foundation Stage Class Teacher on a Full Time and Temporary basis, from September 2024. This position is suitable for an ECT/MPR who will be supported by a full package of induction and coaching offered by experienced staff. The Foundation Stage is led and managed as a Unit by experienced practitioners committed to the personal development and the uniqueness of every child.

The Foundation Stage Unit is called the Wildflower Garden and incorporates children from Foundation Stage One and Two. All children learn through play together, with staff supporting and leading this learning. The benefits of all children being together, enjoying continuous provision in a play-based environment, means that children are able to grow and learn at their own pace. Being able to stay within the Foundation Unit throughout Foundation One and Two, means that the children are familiar with the environment both inside and outside and are also familiar with the adults that support them, leading up to their transition into Key Stage One. Communication is paramount at this early stage of development and having the children together gives greater opportunity to explore and experiment with vocabulary and communication styles.
