The Catering & Facilities Management Service is looking to employ an additional cleaner, at Minster School, Southwell, to further enhance the cleaning standards within the site with immediate effect. The vacancy is 25 hour per week, on a Term Time Plus 5 week deep clean contract. Working hours are 3.30pm to 8.30pm Monday to Friday. (please note that the times may change during the deep clean weeks)

The 5 hours could also be done on a split shift of 6.00am to 8.30am & 3.30pm to 6.00pm. It would also suit 2 people doing a job share of 2.50 hours each per day.

We are looking for somebody who enjoys working in a busy environment, as part of a team of staff, and who is able to communicate at all levels.

Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. Duties will include: vacuuming; washroom cleaning; sweeping; mopping; dusting; washing of furniture and window cleaning and occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. buffing machine and wet pick-ups.

You will play a vital role as part of a large team of cleaning staff, however, this post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative and you will be expected to program your daily routine to meet the needs of the site. Protective clothing and other PPE will be provided as required.
