This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to really make a difference to the lives of the young people who attend these two schools now and in the future. Make no mistake, this is a key job: both schools have been through a period of leadership change in the recent past and things have not always been easy. They are both now in a period of rapid improvement: an interim executive headteacher has stabilised staffing and has brought about key improvements.

We are now looking for a leader who can take both academies through their next phase of development. As a leader you will receive very high-quality support from the multi academy trust. In addition, you will become a member of the SNMAT’s Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the evolution of a successful and growing MAT.

The academies are within a quick commute of one another. The teaching and support staff are accustomed to working collaboratively and are very much looking forward to continuing and strengthening this in the future.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Inspire pupils and staff to be the best that they can be
  • Focus relentlessly on raising standards through the improvement of teaching
  • Instill a culture of high expectations
  • Operate effectively in a complex environment with multiple partners
  • Contribute to the development of SNMAT
  • Promote the Christian values within a Church of England Academy

In return, we can offer you

  • The opportunity of a lifetime to make a real difference
  • A stable and enthusiastic staff
  • Wonderful children who are waiting to be inspired
  • The chance to be play a senior role within a MAT structure
  • Supportive communities

If you believe you possess the qualities to take on this exciting challenge, then we would be delighted to hear from you.

If you would like to discuss the role further please contact Chris Moodie, CEO of SNMAT on 07841 025000. Visits to the academy will be warmly encouraged. These will be available on 4/5/6 September.
