An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Mansfield North Older Adults Team for an experienced, qualified Social Worker or Occupational Therapist who is ready to take the next step in their career as a Senior Practitioner. The successful candidate will require a qualification as either a Best Interest Assessor or an Approved Mental Health Professional. Core tasks of the role will include providing professional supervision, enabling the development of staff, working in partnership with the Manager, team and others to contribute towards an effective and efficient team service. You will also participate in the Safeguarding Manager and Duty Manager role alongside holding a small, complex caseload. 

You will be provided with a comprehensive induction programme, access to training, and other professional development opportunities to enable you to fulfil your role, raise competency levels and progress your career. You will be provided with regular support and supervision. We have mobilised our social care teams which means that employees are issued with tablet devices to enable them to work more flexibly and reduce overall travel time. We are currently undergoing a programme of transformation to ensure that we are a modern workplace and are able to respond quickly within the sector. We also benefit from having a collocation with our health colleagues.
