Diverse Academies want to appoint an outstanding, creative and committed teachers to facilitate and deliver a relevant and meaningful curriculum for groups of students with SLD and ASD working at early national curriculum levels. The role will be at Redgate Primary Academy, Mansfield. The school specialises in supporting the needs of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.
Post: Key stage 1/2 teacher for group of students with SLD and ASD working at early national curriculum levels.
Start Date: February 2019 (or as soon as possible after this date)
Redgate Primary Academy is a SEN school for pupils aged 3-11 years, whom have moderate/severe and complex learning difficulties, predominantly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The academy provide a stimulating, challenging and safe learning environment where individuals are valued and nurtured.
Qualified teacher status is essential and experience of teaching SEND in a special school environment would be desirable. However, we would welcome applications from newly qualified teachers or those in the early stages of their careers who would like to develop their skills in a special school environment. All applicants would be required to support the development of new initiatives across the academy and MAT.
