The Governors are looking to appoint a dynamic and outstanding leader of teaching and learning to be Deputy Headteacher from September 2019. At an exciting time of change for the school, the successful candidate will work closely with the newly appointed Headteacher to lead the school forward and help us deliver an excellent inclusive education for all our pupils. 

We are looking for someone who: 

  • Is engaging, creative and inspirational
  • Is an outstanding teacher with flair, enthusiasm and a sense of humour
  • Is passionate about developing teaching and learning at a whole school level
  • Is a caring practitioner with high expectations of achievement for all children
  • Is a strategic thinker who will work alongside the Headteacher to provide challenge and support
  • Is a leader of learning who is committed to raising standards and has the energy and ability to build on the school’s high achievements
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
