Accounting Technician
Based in the Schools team of the Children, Families and Cultural Services Finance team, you will be providing high quality financial advice/support, information, analysis and interpretation to Head Teachers, Budget Managers and Governors, largely on a sold service basis which will require you to carry out on-site visits, primarily to schools. Consequently the possession of a full driving licence is an essential requirement for this role.
You will be part AAT qualified or equivalent, with experience of working in a financial environment with a range of financial systems and processes. You must be able to manage your own performance to meet objectives and provide an excellent customer focused service. The ability to work on your own initiative, pay attention to detail and understand and interpret information is essential, as are good communication and interpersonal skills.
