The Elizabethan Academy is a successful and popular 11 to 18 comprehensive school with purpose built premises and excellent facilities.

We are currently looking for an exceptional Physical Education (PE) Teacher with a passion and determination to see all students, regardless of background or ability, succeed in their education, gain access to university and lead fulfilling lives in careers of their choice.

The PE Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality lessons and achieving excellent results for their students, instilling in them a love for the subject and a desire to learn. 

We welcome applications from NQTs as well as more experienced teachers.

The ideal candidate will: 

• Be a well-qualified PE teacher with a record of delivering good and outstanding lessons. 
• Have evidence of supporting students to make beyond expected progress
• Have an excellent record of forging positive relationships with students to encourage great learning
• Have a resilient character and a strong personal drive
• Understand the difference that a great education can make to pupils - especially to those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
