Senior Monitoring & Enforcement Officer
Working in the Development Management Team, you will have a degree/diploma in planning or other related subject, an extensive understanding of minerals and waste development and a good knowledge of planning and enforcement procedures.
The post will require you to help ensure that the Development Management Team monitors development it has approved to ensure compliance with planning conditions and legal agreements; responds to complaints; investigates and remedies unauthorised development; and determines planning applications and other planning submissions.
The role offers the opportunity to handle a varied and challenging workload and requires effective liaison with site operators, the public, elected County Councillors, District and Parish Councils and technical specialists in a range of fields whilst respecting issues of a sensitive nature by working with tact and diplomacy.
The post offers the ability to work flexibly both from home and the office.
