General Production Assistant
County Enterprise Foods produce ready meals primarily for the elderly, vulnerable adults and schools, producing approximately 2,000 meals a day in a busy production unit based in Worksop. County Enterprise is part of supported employment.
An opportunity has arisen for a General Production Assistant to work as part of this team to prepare and pack food items as directed and in accordance with standard recipes and packing schedules. You will assist in the correct storage & chilling of food in accordance with instructions and clean as directed kitchen equipment, work surfaces, storage facilities and any associated areas. At times you will be working in cold areas of the unit. You will need to demonstrate the ability to work under instruction and at times on their own.
You are expected to have or be willing to undertake basic food hygiene training and experience in a food production environment is desirable.
On the job training will be provided.
