This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual wanting to drive our Organisation Design agenda to support the delivery of the Nottinghamshire Plan and People Strategy.  You will have an understanding and experience of the role of Organisational Development, with a positive forward-thinking holistic view of progressing and achieving initiatives across the Council and with its partners. This important role will support and create opportunities for the organisation to implement effective change management strategies and plans to ensure successful and lasting change.

You will help design, develop, and support a move to plan our workforce in more sustainable way, considering continuous improvement and innovative learning solutions across the organisation. You will also be responsible for all aspects of learning & development, OD, employee engagement, wellbeing and reward and must have the ability to deliver well established programmes of work and in some areas be creative and develop initiatives and interventions from scratch.  The current focus as part of the Nottinghamshire Plan is health and wellbeing, leadership development including a new aspirant programme to support workforce development and continued work on embedding the Nottinghamshire Way as part of a culture change programme.

This fast paced, diverse role requires excellent communication skills and stakeholder management with good planning and organisational skills being essential with an ability to work proactively and flexibly.  This is an exciting time to be joining the team and you can be part of driving future change.
