The Catering & Facilities Management Service are seeking to employ 2 mobile cleaners (base to be arranged) to join our existing mobile team within the Ashfield area. The successful applicants will be required to help with the sickness cover for NCC buildings, fire stations and schools, currently numbering 65 sites.

We are committed to high working standards in the Ashfield Area, and need mobile cleaners who are eager to maintain these values and work as part of a valued team. The successful candidates will be required to work between the hours of 6 am – 8 am and 3:30 pm-5:30 pm and on occasions 6 am - 8:30 am and 3:30 pm-6 pm, working flexibly to meet the changing needs of the sites. The successful candidates will be able to drive and be a car owner with a clean driving license. Travel expenses will be paid to and from the base.

We are looking for candidates who enjoy working in a busy environment and who can communicate at all levels. Experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be given. Duties will include: vacuuming, washroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing of furniture and window cleaning (plus occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. buffing machine and wet pick-up). Protective clothing and other PPE will be provided as required.
