Do you want to join a fast-paced exciting team who are responsible for ensuring that Nottinghamshire continues to have sufficient school places for all the children of statutory school age resident in the county?

This is an office-based post where you will be required to work with another Place Planning Practitioner to support Senior Officers in preparing annual projection data, clarifying how and when factors such as population growth, changing demographics and housing developments will impact upon the need for future school places. You will be required to prepare data and respond to queries from a range of local government colleagues, councillors, district councils, schools and developers. You will need good oral and written communication skills and be able to demonstrate experience in using ICT skills particularly excel in a work environment. You will need a positive solution focused attitude and be able to maintain a high standard of work in a busy environment where priorities can change.
