Start Date: January/February 2021.

We are looking to appoint a highly skilled, capable and enthusiastic Site Manager who will lead and manage the academy site and premises. Ensuring all statutory obligations are met and that the buildings are maintained to a high standard.

The Successful candidate will be:

Responsible for the safety and maintenance of the site and premises, ensuring a high quality maintenance programme is in place with a mixture of in house work and external contractors. That the helpdesk is effectively managed and responded to quickly and efficiently. You will have a good all round knowledge of building and associated trades. Holding a skilled trade yourself, would be advantageous.

The academy lead on all health and safety matters ensuring policies, risk assessments and practice & procedures meets all legislation and regulations. You must therefore have knowledge and experience in this area and be willing to continue with health and safety training throughout your time at the academy.

Managing a team of site assistants and an in house cleaning team therefore you must be personable, organised and have the ability to coordinate large teams and delegate duties effectively.

Working with a large staff and student body, therefore you must be friendly, approachable and have the ability to keep calm under pressure. You must also have an understanding that the education, well-being and safeguarding of our students is a priority at all times.
