The Headteacher and Governors at GPS are looking to recruit an experienced, friendly, enthusiastic individual with a commitment to delivering high quality admin support to the school.  The post will commence on Monday 6th March 2017. Gotham is 20 minutes from West Bridgford and 10 minutes from Clifton

Our office team works to ensure the smooth running of the school on a daily basis, and provides a welcoming and efficient reception service to our parents, visitors, children and staff.

This is a permanent post for 35 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.00pm (with 30 minutes for lunch).

The successful Candidate will:-

1.            Have at least one year’s previous school office experience (or similar)

2.            Have a good level of literacy, numeracy and IT skills

3.            Offer a warm and welcoming reception service

4.            Co-ordinate school meals with the school meals service and the sQuid package

5.            Monitor and respond to pupil absences

6.            Be responsible for administering medicines to pupils

7.            Demonstrate an understanding that safeguarding and confidentiality are fundamental to the role

8.            Carry out general admin and clerical duties

9.            Have excellent communication skills with adults and children alike
