A vacancy has arisen for a Specialist Strand and Locality Lead for the Early Years/Key Stage 1 Team within Schools and Families Specialist Services (SFSS),

We are seeking candidates with the relevant knowledge, skills and experience to lead the Early Years/KS1 SEND Teacher Team to:

  • ensure the continued provision of a high-quality service to young children with SEND, their families and the schools they attend; 
  • be responsible for the quality of service provision within the early years’ team, deployment (casework), line management and supervision of staff within this team, as well as data collection and analysis;
  • to promote and contribute to the delivery of Nottinghamshire County Council’s SEND Strategy and; support the development and evolution of new Locality Ways of Working and collaborative decision-making, in relation to children and young people with SEND.
